Daniel Crotty, AICP and Monique Colberg
Join SEPI in Ft. Lauderdale

As SEPI continues to expand its reach in Florida, we welcome two exciting new team members: Daniel Crotty and Monique Colberg. Both Daniel and Monique have joined SEPI to focus on our emerging Transit and Mobility Planning practice, as well as to support our existing planning services across the firm. Daniel and Monique will bolster SEPI’s continued growth initiatives throughout Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and other emerging regions.

Daniel is certified through the America Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and has seven years of Florida-based, transportation planning experience. He specializes in publicly managed transportation systems on a national level and delivers technical support and policy guidance to a host of governments, boards, and transportation-related agencies in diverse capacities. Daniel holds a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University.

“One of the key factors that gave me the conviction to join SEPI was the company’s willingness to be a leader in spaces beyond the industry. I love SEPI’s origin story and its commitment to self-improvement, fostering leadership, and generating equity. The company culture is beautiful, and I believe in the vision. I am genuinely excited to pursue excellence with everyone!” – Daniel Crotty

Monique offers similar planning experience and has provided technical support and policy guidance to transportation-related clients including state departments of transportation, municipal governments, and regional planning organizations. Monique holds a master’s degree in Religion, and bachelor’s degrees in both Biochemistry and Religion from Florida State University.

“I’m excited to be joining a team of forward-thinking professionals — unafraid of exploring innovative solutions, creating meaningful connections, and in the process, remaining grounded and kind. It’s clear to me that SEPI takes pride in its employees and fosters this type of environment. I am honored to take part and, in turn, pass forward these values to others as we work to build strong communities.” – Monique Colberg

Both Daniel and Monique have professional relationships with the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA), the Florida Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council (MPOAC), and the Women’s Transportation Seminar. Additionally, both volunteer as a child advocate for the Guardian ad Litem Program.

Steve Moore, P.E., SEPI’s Senior Vice President for Growth and Development states: “We are very fortunate and excited to have Daniel and Monique join our SEPI family as we enhance our client and community services through solutions-based Transit and Mobility Planning across our local, state and federal markets.”
