SEPI was responsible for obtaining rezoning and Preliminary Site Plan approval for Waterview Townes, located near the intersection of Buffaloe Road and Durwood Lane in Raleigh, NC.
The project consists of 53 three-story townhome units on approximately 12-acres. The design includes three stormwater BMP/SCMs; space to accommodate additional parking required by the City; and the design of a public street interior to the site.
SEPI’s technical responsibilities included site layout design; stormwater management and storm drainage system design; erosion control; and water and sanitary sewer design. SEPI also provided construction administration services.
The project included a pipe extension under an adjacent existing road that required approval from the Army Corps of Engineers due to wetland disturbance and NCDWR for stream and buffer disturbances for stormwater BMP/SCM outfalls.
The project was permitted through the City of Raleigh, NCDWR, the Army Corps of Engineers, NCDEQ, and the NCDOT.
