SEPI provided surveying, site engineering, and permitting services for the largest solar-thermal farm in the United States located on approximately six-acres 4470 Hwy 20 East near the Town of St. Pauls, NC.
SEPI was involved in every aspect of the project, from preliminary engineering and topographic surveys to the post construction as-built of the entire site, including a complete boundary survey. The solar panels are now used to heat 250,000-gallons of water per day for cleaning of processing areas at the Prestage turkey processing plant.
SEPI performed site engineering and permitting services, as well as construction staking for panel foundations, erosion control features, waterlines, tank pads, and new mechanical building. SEPI’s engineers and surveyors were involved throughout every phase of the project to help ensure adherence to the stringent schedule and project budget.
