SEPI conducted a pavement and infrastructure condition assessment of this privately-owned subdivision that sought to have its roads added to the state maintained secondary road system.
The assessment included review of existing pipe culvert and roadway conditions to determine compliance with NCDOT subdivision road construction standards. Utilities were identified for the planning, contract development, and construction phases of the project and SEPI also obtained the necessary environmental permits.
SEPI provided further assistance with bid advertisement, bid review, and contractor selection. In addition, staff prepared the final plans, cost estimates, and bid documents and are performing contract administration. Upon contractor award, SEPI will also provide on-site inspection services.
