SEPI provided site layout and design for the transformation of the North Durham Retail property into a mixed-use amenity.
With steady growth over the past 10 years, the North Durham Retail center was an ideal property for redevelopment. The site was formerly a 10,500-SF restaurant located at the intersection of East Carver Street and North Roxboro Road in Durham, NC.
The project includes the design of a stand-alone 3,700-SF fast food restaurant and a multi-tenant building comprised of a 2,300-SF restaurant; a 1,800-SF retail store; and a 4,600-SF restaurant.
SEPI’s technical responsibilities included capacity analysis, traffic projections, site layout, storm drainage system design, erosion control design, and water and sanitary sewer layout and design.
SEPI also provided construction administration services to the owner. The project was permitted through the City of Durham, Durham County, and the NCDOT.
