The U-5716 project is located in Onslow County in the vicinity of the intersection of US 258/NC 24/NC 53. SEPI provided project level traffic forecast for the current and future years with No Build and three Build Alternatives in each year. The Jacksonville Regional Travel Demand Model was used as a tool to aid in this forecast development.
The project included the collection of 48-hour vehicle classification counts and 16-hour turning movement counts and was completed as part of SEPI’s traffic forecasting on-call agreement with the NCDOT.
