SEPI was selected to provide an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey and topographic/utility survey of the Duke Energy Progress substation on the NC State University Centennial Campus.
SEPI performed an ALTA/ACSM Land Title survey of the 1.0-acre substation compound; located all equipment and structures inside the compound; and performed a topographic and utility survey of approximately 2.0-acres around the substation.
Horizontal and vertical control was established by GNSS/GPS. Substation access and safety was coordinated with Duke Energy Progress.
For worker safety and project economy, high definition 3D laser scanning was utilized to capture substation equipment details.
