SEPI is providing multi-disciplinary civil engineering services to the Town of Carolina Beach on the Carolina Beach Marina project.

For Phases 1 and 2, SEPI provided documentation for Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) permitting; civil engineering design services for water and sewer lines; site plan construction drawings; and construction management including bid services, submittal review, and construction phase services.

Phase 1 work included emergency bulkhead repair of damage incurred at the Marina during Hurricane Matthew. Work included installation of approximately 250-feet of new bulkhead on the landward side of the existing bulkhead, the temporary relocation of the existing permitted floating docks in the area, and the removal of the existing bulkhead, boardwalk, and piles.

Phase 2 work included completion of the bulkhead along the west side of the marina, the temporary relocation of the existing permitted floating docks in the area, the construction of the sidewalk, electrical and plumbing from source to bulkhead, and the removal of the existing bulkhead, boardwalk, and piles.
