South Carolina Marketing Coordinator

SEPI, Inc. is seeking a motivated team player with a positive attitude and dedicated work ethic to join our team to support the design, development and production of marketing materials and assist in marketing/business development activities. SEPI is an award-winning, woman-owned civil engineering and infrastructure firm offering concept to completion services, technical solutions and inspired design for the built environment. We are seeking a multi-faceted, highly organized marketing coordinator with a positive attitude and proven work ethic to join our team. Qualified candidates should have three to five years of progressive marketing coordination experience within the architecture, engineering and/or construction management industry and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. The Charleston, SC-based Marketing Coordinator is a key position within the Corporate Marketing Team, reporting to the SVP, Chief Strategy Officer. The position will contribute to a team of marketing and communications staff to produce high-quality deliverables in a positive, decisive, professional manner in accordance with our core values. Essential Functions:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced organization and time management skills
  • Coordinate time-sensitive Statement of Qualifications, Request for Qualifications, Request for Proposals, and Letters of Interest in standard and SF 330 formats
  • Coordinate shortlist materials and presentations
  • Assist with website and intranet maintenance in WordPress and social media presence across all channels
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills to communicate efficiently with internal and external clients as well as sub consultants
  • Maintain/coordinate marketing-related content in Deltek Vision such as resumes, project descriptions/details, etc. for use by multiple service lines
  • Handle tasks of varying priority as-needed while maintaining a focus on quality in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions yet take ownership of assignments and work independently.
  • Promote and monitor company branding standards
  • Graphic design and layout
  • Assist with maintaining graphics library
  • Hard copy proposal production
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet client deadlines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist SC Practice Leader and CSO with interview preparation for project teams
  • Conduct Deltek Vision (marketing database) queries and internet/intranet research
  • Maintain accuracy of Deltek Vision database
  • Contribute to Salesforce and accuracy of opportunity status
  • Desire to support a thriving work environment that encourages community service, office parties, and camaraderie
  • Attend client meetings, conferences, interview preps, and presentations as needed
  • Travel to support region
  • Assist with updates and changes to the company website and company intranet through WordPress
  • Assist with creating and managing email marketing in Constant Contact for company announcements to outside clients
  • Assist with creating content for social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management

Machines, Tools and Equipment:

  • Operate standard office equipment (i.e., personal computer, facsimile, copy machine, etc.)

Education, Training, Experience and Licensing/Certification Requirements:

  • Minimum of three to five years of experience with proposals/marketing in the A/E/C industry or with a technical firm preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Deltek Vision, Salesforce, WordPress preferred

Physical/Mental Demands:

Working Conditions:

  • Work in indoor office environment 90% of the time.
  • Low to Moderate noise level
  • Travel via air and/or automobile on occasion as needed
